All ceramics at Eckels Pottery are individually designed and hand made. The pottery is fired to 2300 degrees completely vitrifying the clay body. It is ovenproof, waterproof, microwave safe, and dishwasher safe. There is no lead or other toxic materials in our glazes so you can use our pottery on a daily basis. Each piece is handled dozens of times and will reflect the hand print of its maker. These unique differences are what make handmade pottery a joy to use.
